Maybelline New York Dream Nude AirFoam

All throughout last summer, I've seen multiple commercial advertising this Maybelline New York Dream Nude AirFoam, that I've almost memorized every line of their advertisement. It's been one of my wants for such a long time, and I finally got a chance to buy it!

As you can see, I bought this in the colour of "Pure Beige", and true to it's colour as the outside of the can, which I think is great. It doesn't fool consumers and upset them in buying the wrong colour, as long as they know which skin tone they are.

The instructions below say :

1. Shake can well before use. Remove cap.

I recommend you shake REALLY well, and for a long time too, because the first time i sprayed it out, it was just white foam and I was confused. I was like: "Wow! Am I really this pale?". I thought it expired or something. So I gave it another shake, and it just showed a hint of beige. It wasn't until the third try that it actually came out.

2. Hold can upright and press lightly to dispense a
walnut sized amount of product.
3. Take small dabs of the product from the hand.

When I sprayed this out of the can, A LOT came out. And I mean A LOT. It was like the size of my palm. Don't blame me! It's very hard to control how much comes out, especially if you're new to this whole "foam spray" thing - which I was. So I ended up putting it on my face and seeing how it turned out :P

4. Apply to face one section at a time,
blending with short circular motion.

What I recommend is that you do this step as quickly as possible. Once it's dry, it sets on your face and it's really hard to move around. Especially for sensitive skin, if you try to move the foundation around once it's dry, then you might find your skin turning red underneath because your rubbing too hard.

This is what it looks like straight from the can when you
spay it on.
This is a close up of the moose/foam. See the bubbles?
This is how it looks when I rubbed it on my skin all
over the top area.
Let the foundation set for a little and it will turn a
bit lighter.
Afterwards, swirl the foundation and spread it out
evenly to look like this.

You could see the difference half way down my index finger, that it's a little darker than my usual skin colour. I think I bought this in too dark of a shade, but it does perfectly well. I would probably wear this in the summer to fake my tan cause I don't tan that easily than my friends ;D Other than that, I might get this in a lighter tone next time.

I do admit that this foundation does has it's problems, but I could put up with it. After all, I did buy it, and there's still lots left inside. So I can't complain. All I could do is give you this review for you to decide for yourself if you want to buy this product. I would use this product from time to time on special occasions during the summer when I need it though.
