A while back, I bought a new covergirl foundation from Wal-Mart. I don't remember the exct price, but it was an okay medum ranged price for the product. What I love about it is that it's cased in glass, and it looks very elegant. I know my picutres are not that great, and they may be a little tad orangey, but I think you can notice the glass rim around it.
I also love how they made the casing for the product, and the blue tones of the compact case shimmers in the light. I also like that the font of Covergirl's makeup looks so sleek!! :D
So I bought this Covergirl Clean Powder Foundation in 525 Buff Beige, and I chose this one in Oil Control, because I have quite oil skin, especially in the summer (Gross!). The colour of the packaging depends on the type of skin you have. If you have Sensitive Skin, then the pack will be dark green, and so on. It varies. I wish I waited because now they released a Covergirl Clean Powder Foundation for Combination Skin or something like that. I forgot.
In the pack, it comes with an already made dabbing, sort of pad, to apply the powder. I think that it was a really good deal, because my face was in total shock when it opened up and I saw that. I was like "BONUS!!!!" Hahaha. So yeah, I was pleased with that. All I don't like about it, is that after a while, the pad can get pretty full with powder, and it would look dirty. :( That's the only minus. The padding is quite soft though, so it won't be rough on your skin like a brush would be.
It also has a built in mirror, to check on how you look every now and then, or to reapply make-up when ever you feel like it. I think that was also a bonus because sometimes I find it soooo annoying not having a mirror when you want it. All I have is my locker mirror. UGHH!
The coverage of this product is minimal, or very sheer, unless you cake it on like crazy - like I know some people do. :P I guess that's a good thing because I don't want to myself looking like a clown, or too much that someone will notice it's weird.
